Gaurav Chaurasia is a post-doctoral researcher at Disney Research Zurich investigating parametric and machine learning methods to extract semantic structure in natural and man-made scenes. He completed his doctoral dissertation on image-based rendering of urban scenes with Dr. George Drettakis at INRIA (France), and worked at MIT (Cambridge MA) as a post-doctoral associate with Prof. Fredo Durand on computational photography. His research interests include image-based rendering, 3D reconstruction, high performance image processing, and applied machine learning for image synthesis.
